Matthew is a founding partner of Drake Capital, LLC, with over 20 years of experience brokering real estate transactions since 2005. He specializes in asset management, NNN investment sales, development, and equity syndication. Additionally, Matthew serves from time to time as a court-appointed receiver with additional activities in litigation support and related expert testimony.
Prior to his real estate career, Matthew worked in the broadcast department of a sports franchise. Alongside co-founder Casey Hymer, he oversees brokerage operations, delivering strategic solutions for complex real estate and insolvency cases, including providing forensic analysis and expert testimony in legal proceedings.
Raised in Dallas, TX, Matthew holds two degrees from Southern Methodist University and the CCIM designation. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, National Association of Realtors (NAR), and Texas Association of Realtors (TAR). Matthew has recently served on the boards of the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors, Tyler Economic Development Corporation, and Tyler Chamber of Commerce, and the executive committee of Catalyst 100. Matthew and his family reside in Tyler and attend Sunday worship at Fifth Street Presbyterian Church, PCA, where he's served as a ruling elder in the past.
